How do I keep my WhatsApp number healthy?
Number health, in the menu, shows whether each of your numbers can send, what Meta says about it, and what to do about it, most urgent first. Everyone in the workspace can open it. Meta gives each number a quality rating of High, Medium or Low. It comes from how people received your messages over the last seven days: blocks, reports, mutes and the reason people give when they block you, with recent messages counting most. To keep it high, message only people who agreed to hear from you and send marketing less often. A lower rating does not reduce your daily limit, but it stops the limit from growing. Meta also limits how many different people your business can start a conversation with in any 24 hours; replies to people who wrote to you in the last 24 hours do not count. New businesses start at 250. To reach 2,000, verify your business with Meta, or have 2,000 messages delivered to different people within 30 days using templates with a high quality rating; Meta then checks your message quality before it raises the limit. After that it goes up by itself, to 10,000, then 100,000, then no limit, each time you have used at least half of it in the last 7 days while your messages stay high quality. All your numbers share the limit. Number health shows how much of it is used today. Meta rates each template too. When people react badly to one, Meta pauses it for 3 hours, then for 6 hours, and the third time disables it. A paused or disabled template cannot be sent, so any broadcast or automation that uses it fails. Meta can also move a template to another category, which changes what each send costs. Number health shows how yesterday’s and the last seven days’ messages fared, with each reason a message failed in plain words. Two are worth knowing. Meta limits how many marketing messages one person receives from all businesses and holds back the rest: nothing is wrong with your number, so send marketing less often and wait at least 24 hours before trying the same people again. And a message to a number that is not on WhatsApp cannot be delivered, so remove those numbers from your lists. Fliok rings the bell once when Meta lowers a number’s quality rating or its limit, when Meta pauses or disables a template or moves one to marketing, when 30% or more of a day’s messages from a number fail (once at least 50 have a result), and when 80% of the daily limit is used. Those figures are Fliok’s own choices; Meta publishes none.
