You can delete your fliok account and everything we hold for it at any time. There are two ways to do it — one inside the app, one by email if you have already uninstalled it.

From the app or website

  1. Sign in as the account owner.
  2. Go to Settings (or open fliok.com/settings).
  3. Scroll to Delete this account, type the confirmation phrase, and confirm.

Only the account owner can do this. Admins, agents and viewers cannot delete an organisation.

By email

If you no longer have access to the app, email support@fliok.com from the address you registered with, asking us to delete your account. We verify that the request comes from the account owner before acting on it.

What happens, and when

  • Immediately: the account stops sending and receiving messages, and every API key issued to it stops working. This is not a scheduled closure that keeps running in the background.
  • Within 30 days: you can still reach us to stop the deletion. Nothing has been erased yet.
  • After 30 days: everything is permanently erased and cannot be recovered.

What is deleted

  • Your organisation, its team members and their access.
  • Your contacts and their attributes, tags and consent records.
  • All conversations and message history, inbound and outbound.
  • All media you sent or received through the platform (images, video, audio, documents).
  • Your saved templates, flows, broadcasts, automation and AI configuration.
  • Your API keys and webhook endpoints.

What is kept, and why

  • Invoices and payment records — Indian tax law requires us to retain issued GST invoices and the transaction records behind them. These are kept for the statutory retention period and are not used for anything else.
  • Your AI usage wallet — any unused prepaid balance is refundable when you close your account; email us to have it refunded (see the Refund Policy). The wallet’s payment records are kept with the invoices and payment records above.
  • Your WhatsApp number and WhatsApp Business Account — these belong to you and live with Meta, not with us. Deleting your fliok account disconnects them from us; it does not delete them. You can connect them to another provider afterwards.
  • Anonymous, aggregated counts that cannot be traced back to you or your customers (for example, total messages processed in a month).

For anything else about how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy. You can also export your data before deleting — ask us at support@fliok.com and we will send you an archive.
