Do I need coding skills to build a chatbot?
No. The flow builder is a drag-and-drop canvas of message, question, condition and branch steps. The AI agent needs no building at all: you describe your business in settings and it writes the replies.
Can the chatbot hand off to a human agent?
Yes, automatically. After a teammate replies, the AI stays out of that chat for 45 minutes, and it pauses itself when a customer asks for a person. You can also pause it on one chat, or switch it off for the whole workspace from the sidebar.
What can the AI actually understand?
Text, photos and video; for a document it reads the caption, not the file. Voice notes are not transcribed yet.
What happens when nobody is free to reply?
Auto replies cover it, on Basic and above: a welcome message, an away message outside your working hours, and a delayed-response message after a wait you choose. Each reaches a customer at most once in 24 hours, none is sent while a chatbot is answering, and none counts as your team’s first response. While the AI agent is answering, it replies instead of the welcome and delayed messages.
Will the AI contradict what I already sent someone?
It is built not to. The agent sees the templates already sent to that customer, with their parameters and button links, so it reuses the customer’s own links instead of inventing new ones or repeating an offer.
