Fliok has two separate bills from us, plus Meta’s. This post explains the one people ask about most: the AI.
Who gets the AI agent
The AI sales agent (automatic replies, follow-ups, and reading the photos and video customers send) is included on the Pro plan (₹3,200 a month + GST) and on Enterprise. It is not part of the Free or Basic plans. Rule-based chatbot flows and WhatsApp Flows are not AI, and they work on every plan.
What an AI reply costs
Each AI reply that is actually sent costs ₹0.10, paid from a prepaid usage wallet. The price is the same for a one-line answer and for a reply that needed the AI to look at a photo or a video.
AI follow-ups that are sent are billed the same way. When the AI checks a quiet conversation during its follow-ups and decides not to send anything, that check costs nothing. (The separate nurture feature, which decides whether to send a template to a lead who has gone quiet, is charged per decision; see below.)
Other AI features
Some other features also use the AI, and each is charged per use from the same wallet:
| Feature | Price per use |
|---|---|
| Reading a conversation into structured customer facts | ₹0.05 |
| Drafting a reply for a teammate to review, or summarising a thread | ₹0.05 |
| Drafting a template, campaign copy or business settings | ₹0.25 |
| Turning a sentence into an audience filter | ₹0.02 |
| Deciding whether a quiet lead is worth a nurture message | ₹0.08 |
| A periodic account summary | ₹0.50 |
Every charge is recorded as its own line in the wallet ledger, which you can see under Settings → Billing.
GST
GST at 18% is added when you top up, not on each reply. Adding ₹500 costs ₹590 and puts ₹500 in the wallet; replies then draw on that balance without further tax. A top-up can be anything from ₹100 to ₹1,00,000.
When the wallet runs out
The AI pauses. Your inbox, broadcasts, templates and messaging keep working, and the AI resumes as soon as you top up. You can also turn on auto-recharge: when the balance falls below a threshold you choose, we charge your saved payment mandate. Under RBI rules you get a notice at least 24 hours before every such debit, and if the notice cannot be sent, the debit does not happen.
Why the wallet is separate from the plan
The plan fee pays for the platform. The wallet pays for AI usage. Keeping them apart is deliberate:
- A lapsed subscription does not take money you have already put in the wallet.
- An empty wallet does not suspend your plan.
- Your balance does not expire, and unused funds are refundable if you close your account. See the refund policy.
What the wallet does not pay for
WhatsApp message charges. Those are billed by Meta directly to your WhatsApp Business account, at Meta’s rates. See what WhatsApp marketing messages cost in India.
