What it costs
Part of your plan, not an add-on
Quotations are part of Invoices & receipts, on Basic, Pro and Enterprise. They are not on Free.
| Each month | Basic | Pro | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Documents issuedA quotation counts once, when it is first sent. Each bill raised from it counts as a document of its own | 300 | 1,500 | Unlimited |
| Customer emailsOne per address; shared with Bookings | 1,000 | 5,000 | 25,000 |
- On WhatsApp a quotation goes as an ordinary message while the customer’s chat is open. Otherwise it goes as a marketing message, at Meta’s marketing rate: a customer who has stopped marketing messages, or who got another marketing message from you in the last 48 hours, gets it by email only.
- Meta bills each WhatsApp message to your own WhatsApp Business account at its own rates; Fliok adds no markup.
- Each WhatsApp message also counts toward your plan’s monthly message allowance.
- On Basic, customer pages and PDFs carry “Powered by Fliok” and emails “Sent with Fliok”. Pro and Enterprise carry neither.
Said plainly
What it doesn’t do
A quotation gets you a clear yes and a bill to send. These are not part of it.
- A signatureAccepting records the name typed, the time and the version. It is a record of the yes, not a digital signature.
- Taking moneyA quotation never takes money itself. Each part is paid on the bill you raise for it.
- Follow-ups after the valid dateOne follow-up goes before the valid date. Nothing is sent once that date has passed.
The message has a View quotation button that opens the quotation’s own page, with no sign-in and no app. There the customer ticks any optional items, types their full name and presses Accept quotation, or chooses Ask for a change or Decline. Your team is told each time, and the customer gets a confirmation with the accepted copy.
No. Fliok records the name typed, the date and time, and which version was accepted. It is a record of the yes, not a digital signature. If you press Revise after that, the customer has to accept the new version.
Yes. Under How it is paid for, choose Full amount, Advance or In parts: 2 to 8 parts, each due when the customer accepts, on a date, or when something you name happens. Each part gets its own bill, with its own number, its own page with the ways to pay and its own reminders. The quotation itself never takes money.
Only if you choose that. In the settings, When a customer accepts starts as “Tell me, and I raise the bill”. “Raise and send the bill by itself” bills what falls due on acceptance at once, and a dated part on its day. A part that waits for something to happen is always billed by you.
Press Record as accepted on the quotation. It is recorded with your name, the time and the version, and the customer is sent a confirmation. It is recorded without the optional items: if the customer wants one, revise the quotation to include it first.
One follow-up goes 2 days before the valid date, unless you stop it for that quotation, and nothing is sent after that date. The quotation’s screen shows whether the customer has opened it. You can send it again, revise it or withdraw it.
Nothing beyond your plan: quotations are part of Invoices & receipts on Basic, Pro and Enterprise. A quotation counts as one of the month’s documents (300 on Basic, 1,500 on Pro and unlimited on Enterprise), and so does each bill raised from it. On WhatsApp a quotation goes as an ordinary message while the customer’s chat is open. Otherwise it goes as a marketing message, at Meta’s marketing rate: a customer who has stopped marketing messages, or who got another marketing message from you in the last 48 hours, gets it by email only. The form says which it will be before you send. Meta bills each WhatsApp message to your own WhatsApp Business account at its own rates; Fliok adds no markup.
A quotation is the price you offer before the order, which many businesses call an estimate. It has its own numbers, such as QUO/26-27/0007, and says “This is a quotation, not a tax invoice.” under its title. A proforma is a bill sent ahead of the invoice; a part of an accepted quotation can be billed as a proforma or as an invoice.
