Instagram automations: Comment the word, get the DM

Pick one post or any post, the words to watch for (on one post you can answer every comment), up to 5 public replies used in turn (or none) and the DM, with a link button. Instagram allows one private reply per comment, within 7 days of it, so each person gets the DM once; if they write back, the chat carries on in the Instagram inbox.

Yes. Switch on the follow ask in a comment automation: the private reply offers a “Send it to me” button, and anyone who does not follow you yet is asked to, with an “I’m following” button to tap. Fliok checks with Instagram each time; after three checks, or if Instagram cannot say, it sends the DM anyway, so nobody is left without it.

“Send to earlier comments” sends the automation’s DM to matching comments from the last 7 days, Instagram’s limit for a private reply: on its post, or on your 25 newest posts. It goes oldest first, once per person, with no public reply under days-old comments. And every 15 minutes Fliok checks your newest posts for comments Instagram failed to pass on, and answers those from the last 48 hours.

An ig.me link to your account with a short code of your own on the end. Put it in your bio, an ad, a QR code or a WhatsApp message: whoever opens it gets the DM you set straight away, and the chat carries on in the Instagram inbox. Each code runs one automation, so different links can send different replies.

Story reply and story mention automations thank people, and up to 4 ice breakers are questions people tap to start a chat. These DMs can carry quick replies or cards, and can hand the chat to your team.

Up to 100 in a workspace, each with its own switch, with the Instagram add-on on Basic and above. Admins and the owner create, change and delete them; everyone in the workspace can see them. Each one can also add a tag to the contacts it reaches.
