What it does
Everything in Payment Reminders
- Reminders around the due date, by themselves
- They stop the moment a bill is paid
- From your own WhatsApp number, and by email
- Who owes you, customer by customer
- How old the money is, in 5 bands
- Remind: one message about the oldest bill
- A statement of account, as a PDF
- Two CSV files for your accountant
The reminder ladder
Before the due date, on it, and after
A new workspace reminds 3 days before, on the due date, 3 days after, 7 days after and 14 days after. Each goes once, between 10 am and 7 pm your time, and only while money is still owed.
- Your own ladder, up to 8 reminders
- Stop reminders for one invoice, or switch them off
- A reply from the customer lands in your inbox
- 3 days before
- On the due date
- 3 days after
- 7 days after
- 14 days after
Who owes you
Every customer who has not paid, and for how long
One tab lists each customer with what they owe, what is overdue and the oldest unpaid date, under the totals and how old the money is.
- Sort by Most owed, Oldest first or Name
- From before: what was owed when you started billing here
- Only invoices count; a proforma and a quotation do not
Remind
One message about the bill that has waited longest
Remind does not send a list. It sends one reminder about the oldest unpaid invoice, and shows you what will go, and where, first.
- With the link to the invoice and the ways to pay
- From your own number, in your business’s name
- It says how many more bills are unpaid
One reminder about INV/26-27/0014 — ₹3,000.00 to pay, due 8 Sep 2026 (35 days overdue). It is the bill that has waited longest; 1 more is unpaid, and a statement lists them all.
It goes from your own WhatsApp number and in your business's name, with the link to the invoice and the ways to pay.
A customer’s account
Every bill and payment, with the balance after each
Open a customer to see their account, oldest first. A voided payment or a cancelled bill is not removed: a second line takes it back, so an older statement still adds up.
- A statement of account as a PDF, sent when you are ready
- Its link works for 90 days
- An opening balance, entered once
For your accountant
Two files, for the period you choose
Export for accountant gives an admin two CSV files: the sales register, one row per invoice, and Payments, one row per receipt.
- A cancelled invoice keeps its row, at zero
- This or last month, this or last financial year, or your own dates
- Lists of what you billed and received, not a tax return
Two spreadsheet files (CSV) for the period you choose.
One row per invoice: number, date, customer, GSTIN, place of supply, taxable value, CGST, SGST, IGST, total, received, TDS and balance.
One row per receipt: receipt number, date, customer, GSTIN, the document it is for, amount, TDS, how it was paid and its reference.
These are lists of what you billed and received. They are not a tax return.
Drawn with the dashboard's own components, with sample data.

Said plainly
What it doesn’t do
It reminds, lists and reports. These are not part of it.
- Late feesReminders say what is owed and by when. Nothing is added to a bill for being late.
- Chasing a paid billThe balance is checked as each reminder is sent. A paid or cancelled invoice is never reminded.
- Credit and debit notesTo correct a bill, edit it as a new version, or cancel it and issue another.
- A tax returnThe two CSV files for your accountant are lists of what you billed and received. They are not a tax return.
- WhatsApp reminders for a proformaReminders about a proforma go by email only.
- Messages in other languagesThe WhatsApp reminders are in English, with fixed wording. You can reword the subject and opening line of most emails.

Unless you change it: 3 days before, on the due date, 3 days after, 7 days after and 14 days after. That is 5 reminders, each sent once, between 10 am and 7 pm in your time zone, and nothing goes on the day the invoice was issued. You can set your own ladder of up to 8 reminders, from 30 days before the due date to 90 days after it, or switch reminders off.
No. The balance is checked again at the moment each reminder is sent, so a paid or cancelled invoice is never chased, and after a part payment the reminder names what is still owed. A reminder that could not go for more than 2 days is dropped, not sent late. You can also press Stop reminders on one invoice.

Yes. It is made first, as a PDF, for you to look at, and it goes to the customer when you press Send. It shows the account as it stood on the day it was made, and its link works for 90 days.
