Message someone first with a template
Start a new WhatsApp chat with a customer who has not written to you yet: open New chat, pick the customer, choose an approved template, fill in its blank and send it.

In this video, you'll message a customer who hasn't written to you yet. WhatsApp lets you message someone first only with an approved template. In Inbox, click New chat. Search your contacts by name or number. Rohan is a new customer, so pick him. Pick a template, and Fliok shows a preview of the message. Fill in the blank. Click Use Rohan to put in his first name. Click Send template. The new chat opens, with your message in it. Until Rohan replies, you can send him only templates. Once he does, you can chat freely for 24 hours.
