WhatsApp error 131009
Error 131009: Parameter value is not valid
Error 131009 means Meta rejected one of the values in your request, such as a phone number in the wrong form, an option that does not exist or a media id that is no good. Find the value Meta names in the error details, correct it and send again.

- No. Meta charges only for delivered messages, and this one was not delivered.
Common causes
- A value the endpoint does not accept: the wrong format, too long, or an option that does not exist.
- A media id that has expired or does not belong to your account.
- On the Marketing Messages API, a template that has not finished syncing for ads; Meta says to wait about 10 minutes.
How to fix it
- Read the error details: Meta usually names the field it rejected.
- Check the value against Meta’s endpoint reference and correct it.
- For media, upload the file again and send with the new id.
What Fliok does about it
- Fliok treats 131009 as a definite rejection and does not retry it.
- One exception: when Meta refuses a template’s header media id that Fliok attached from its own store, Fliok uploads the stored file again and sends once more. Meta answered with an error, so nothing had been delivered and the customer cannot get it twice.
Meta sets and changes these codes. If anything here disagrees with Meta’s current reference, Meta is right.
Media ids stop working after a while. Upload the file again to get a new id, or send a link Meta can fetch.
