In this video, you'll create a WhatsApp message template and send it for approval. To message a customer first, or more than 24 hours after their last message, WhatsApp needs a template: a message it has approved in advance. Your templates are listed here. To make a new one, click New template. Describe what the message is for, in your own words, and click Draft it. Fliok writes the template for you. Read the draft carefully. Meta reviews every template, and once a name is rejected, it can't be used again. Check the category. Utility is for updates about something the customer did or asked for, like an order. Anything promotional is Marketing. Variables in double curly brackets are filled in for each customer when you send. Give each one a realistic example, so the reviewer understands what goes there. The preview on the right shows exactly what your customer will see. When it looks right, click Submit for approval. Meta usually decides within minutes, and Fliok shows the result right here. For more short guides, look for the Watch how button at the top of the page.
